DESCRIPTION:Our traditional season opener features a beautiful route with long stretches in river valleys and quiet roads with just enough climbing to get those early season legs pumping! It’s an annual favorite for good reason! \n127 miles\, 4096 feet of climbing\, ACP certified \nRidewithgps link: here. \nNews flash! \nCR-Q at mile 59.2 is closed for construction to replace a bridge. As of 4/23 the bridge is still there BUT it’s possible it’ll be demolished and therefore impassable between now and the brevet. \nSo\, here’s what we’re going to do: \n\n\n\n\n\ndownload the route given above. If it’s been a while since you downloaded it you should do so again as I’ve changed a section of the route to avoid a section of road that’s being repaved.\nalso download the alternate route which detours around the construction.\nI’ll scout the route on Friday before the ride and will announce which route we’re going to use for the brevet. It’s important to note that will be the official route for the brevet. Should you decide to follow the original route and swim across the weather your ride will be disqualified (and you’ll be very wet!).\n\n\n\n\n\nComplete the registration form below. You’ll receive an email which will contain a link to complete a waiver electronically and a PayPal link to pay for the ride. Note that there will be no day of ride registration – advance registration is mandatory! \nYour registration is not complete until your completed waiver and PayPal payment is received. \nImportant note: If you register and don’t receive an email confirmation check your spam folder!
