SUMMARY:Summertime Super 8 Silliness
DESCRIPTION:The 8K600K A.K.A “The Super 8” (my term which you have to admit is catchier than the ACP moniker “BRM of 600K with 8000 meters of climbing”) is newly formulated beginning in late 2022. The new rules are that it be an ACP approved 600K with 8\,000 meters of climbing as verified by OpenRunner. Other than that\, all of the “normal” brevet rules apply: 40 hours to complete\, no support except at controls\, etc. \nAn 8K600K is one of the requirements for an R10000 award which is the capstone award given by the ACP. \nWe all knew the Driftless was hilly but here’s proof! This route meets all the requirements for the 8K600K.
