A very nice route over to Mt Horeb via Spring Green and Barneveld then making our way to New Glarus where an open control lets you pick among the many food and drink establishments before continuing on to Muscoda. Then cross the mighty Wisconsin River and ride up the beautiful CR-E through Boaz (fun fact: Richard Brewer was born in Boaz. DESCRIPTION:As should surprise no one\, the planned 3 States 600k route is also affected by the Blackhawk bridge closure (see the Tour of the Driftless for more details on that). As of 10 June\, the bridge is scheduled to be open through the 4th of July so we’re back on! \nHowever\, as is the hallmark of good randonneurs\, we always have a backup so I’ve left the alternate route below.
