Fitchburg Frolic 300K

Another new route for 2022 and thanks to Andy Quandt for his work developing the route!

The ride will start at the Wyndham Garden motel in Fitchburg, head over to Mt Horeb then Northward to Baraboo via Sauk City and a ride on the Lake Wisconsin ferry.

From Baraboo we’ll head South East to Spring Green and Dodgeville then start working our way back to Fitchburg with stops in Hollandale and New Glarus.

The route has some climbs that’ll test the legs but is about “average” for riding in the Driftless so that means about 61 feet/mile so you’ll want to make sure you’re up for some climbing.

The ACP sanctioned route is just under 191 miles (307K so you’ll get your money’s worth!) with 11,840 feet of climbing.
